Group Counseling

Healing Happens in Connection

There’s something powerful about realizing you’re not the only one. In group counseling at Coyote Counseling, we create spaces where people can come together to explore, learn, and grow alongside others who understand what it’s like to be human: messy, hopeful, and in motion.

Groups offer something that individual therapy can’t always reach: the chance to witness and be witnessed. To speak honestly, listen deeply, and discover that vulnerability can actually build strength.

What to Expect

Group counseling is not about sitting in a circle and taking turns talking. It’s about real connection, noticing patterns, practicing new ways of relating, and learning how to show up more authentically with yourself and others.

In a typical group, you might:

  • Share experiences in a supportive, confidential environment

  • Hear reflections that help you see your own story in a new way

  • Practice communication and boundary-setting skills

  • Learn how to stay grounded in the presence of others

  • Build self-awareness, empathy, and emotional resilience

Why Group Counseling?

Because healing doesn’t happen in isolation. When you share space with others who are navigating similar challenges, something shifts. You begin to see that the parts of yourself you thought were “too much” or “not enough” are actually deeply human.

Group counseling can help if you’re:

  • Wanting to build confidence in relationships

  • Working through anxiety, self-doubt, or loneliness

  • Healing from trauma or loss

  • Wanting to understand how you relate to others

  • Craving community and authentic connection
